The piece is not gaudy or overly sized. The aesthetic is great in person and goes well with a white rope necklace.

Saw the picture of how this pendant looked and was instantly drawn to it so I had to get it for the one time and let me tell you, this piece is crazy as in how good the craftsmanship, shine, and brilliance of this pendant! Pictures can never do it justice but it a beautiful pendant nonetheless. 10/10 would recommend for a good small/midsize pendant to pair with a rope or a Franco chain.
